Micras Globe

Distances are approximate, based on Micras's canonical radius (6,875 km). Travel-time estimates are a work in progress.

About & limitations

Scale. Distances use Micras's canonical radius, 6,875 km (MicrasWiki), and are true great-circle at every range.

Land-area quirk. The wiki's land-area figures imply a bigger planet (radius ~7,656 km, about 11% larger) than its stated 6,875 km — an internal canon inconsistency. The tool uses 6,875 km, so planet-scale distances carry ~11% uncertainty.

Coordinates. 0° longitude is the map's centre, through Cakaristan; it meets the equator at Norfolk Isles. Toggle Show equator & prime meridian in View.

Estimates. Travel times, blast rings and fallout are deliberately approximate — for worldbuilding, not analysis.

The map is pulled live from the MCS and auto-cropped (a bundled copy is the fallback). Generated Worlds tools are for your own worlds, not Micras.
